iDEAS

iDEAS is one of a class of software tools known variously as 'Mind Mapping', 'Decision Support' or 'Rationale Editors'. The purpose of the tool is to help you organise your thoughts as you progress through a decision-making process. It does not matter what you are trying to decide; arriving at a conclusion always involves looking at the key issues, examining the arguments for and against, looking at the type of resources and other inputs a course of action will require and finally ruling different strategies in or out until a solution is decided upon.
