Functions
Description	The purpose of a product and/or each of its sub-components, i.e. the reasons why the product/component exists, as it is, where it is, etc.
Examples	Enables Viewing of Defects, Prevents Corrosion, Warns Operator of Malfunction, Stabilises Pressure, Pumps Fuel to Engine.

Comments	These are normally associated with Phys Entities to describe their purposes and uses Do not confuse Functions and Tasks - Functions are what a thing does; Tasks are what People, Roles and Org Units do Although not in GTO, Functions might also be used with other concepts (such as Software)
