Trees, Diagrams and Matrices

Introduction

Here is some basic information about trees, diagrams and matrices:

• Trees (hierarchies of concepts), diagrams (networks of concepts), and matrices (displays the properties of a set of concepts or the relations that exist between two sets of concepts) show simple graphical views of the way concepts link together.
• When viewing a tree, diagram or matrix, any node that shows a small page symbol can be clicked to see a page of information.
• To switch between pages and trees, diagrams or matrices, you can use the tabs (see the Help page above for more information on this).
• When viewing some diagrams, red arrow symbols will be shown. These can be clicked to see a more detailed diagram (down arrow) or a higher-level diagram (up arrow).
• If you want a particular tree to be shown as the Browser on the left, click on [Browser] alongside the name of the tree.
